The app receives coordinates from the device and locates based on them. Check that location access is allowed in the operating system settings. Location works better when WiFi is turned on, as the phone can then utilize information about nearby WiFi networks for positioning.

On Android devices, Google's location service can sometimes malfunction, and it may help to turn location off and back on again from the device's settings.

Certain weather parameters have been set as default in the 10-day forecast. Selected weather parameters can be customized in the settings panel. The settings panel can be opened from the "three sliders" button found in the upper right corner of the 10-day forecast section. Select which parameters you want to be shown from the switch on the right side of the screen. At the bottom of the settings panel there is also a "Restore default" button, which restores the default selections.

The hourly forecast can be viewed in the 10-day forecast section by pressing the desired day. After pressing, an hourly forecast panel opens, showing hourly forecasts for the selected weather parameters.

When you click on an individual day, a panel opens with hourly forecasts. You can either swipe the table sideways within a single day or jump to a desired time using the time interval buttons at the top of the box (e.g. 12-17). On both sides of the day name there is a bracket which allows you to move to the next day or previous day.

The day length values for the current day can be found on the Weather page by scrolling down from the top. The day length values for the current day as well as for other days can be found in the 10-day forecast section by selecting the desired day. At the bottom of the hourly forecast panel you will find sunrise and sunset times as well as the day length.

Exit and restart the application. If this does not resolve the issue and the problem lasts more than 24 hours, you can try deleting the application completely and reinstalling it. If this does not help, we recommend sending feedback through the app store or email mobiili@fmi.fi.

Check for a nearby place in the app. The search results highlight popular sites instead of small holiday destinations or sparsely populated areas.
