This online service largely meets the A and AA level accessibility criteria required by law (WCAG criteria 2.1). The online service has some shortcomings in accessibility, which are described in more detail below.

Content or features that are not yet accessible
There are some inaccurate and undescriptive link texts in the online service. (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.4)
Focus order is inconsistent in certain sections of the online service. (WCAG 2.4.3)
The semantic structure of the online service is not clear in certain sections of the website, for example tables have been used for layout purposes. (WCAG 1.3.1)
There is no keyboard access to all of the content and functionality. The main menu cannot be exited with the keyboard shortcut. (WCAG 2.1.1)
Focus is not visible in certain user interface elements. (WCAG 2.4.7)
In the Finnish and Swedish versions of the online service, there are terms in English which have not been appropriately marked as being in English. (WCAG 3.1.2)
Certain user interface elements are not programmatically determinable. The expandable elements do not work correctly. There are elements in the online service which are either unnamed or their programmatically determinable label is not announced via assistive technologies. An effort will be made to correct the shortcomings listed in this statement during 2020.
Accessibility requirements do not apply to certain content
The online service provides map-based weather information. Under the law, map content does not need to meet the accessibility requirements. The online service includes videos that are not accessible without captions and audio description. Under the law, video content published prior to 23 September 2020 does not need to be made accessible retroactively or be removed from the website.
