Explore Finland's Current Climate and Climate Statistics

The Finnish Meteorological Institute collects and records Finland's weather data, forming the basis for official climate statistics and weather records.

Climate statistics are available in multiple formats through our Climate Service.
On the website, you can find information on Finland's weather observations and statistics. The website also provides information for travellers planning to visit Finland.

Our online service provides access to Finland’s weather statistics, primarily from the 1960's onward. More detailed statistics are available for the last month.

We also publish monthly statistical press releases, available on the homepage at the beginning of each new month.
