Seeding clouds with aerosols can affect the precipitation yield

Artificial enhancement of precipitation was researched with a numerical simulation model with a spectral aerosol–cloud microphysics module. The results provided more detailed information on how the cloud seeding with aerosols affects the condensation and formation of rain droplets.
