Photographs reveal what the sky looks like in UV
"The photographs presented here make visible to us what we cannot normally see. Rayleigh scattering is typically presented rather theoretically in, for example, text books. I find Lasse's UV photographs eye-opening. They are a very helpful tool for understanding and demonstrating the connection between theory and how scattered sunlight behave in reality. They can also be used to study other phenomena that have to do with UV radiation", says research professor Anders Lindfors.
