The albedo of the Arctic Ocean sea ice has varied significantly in the 21st century

A study was conducted at the Finnish Meteorological Institute on the Arctic Ocean melting and freezing period changes in albedo during the period 2003-2011. The albedo in the region varies a lot, but the average reflectance, however, decreases.
