5. Purposes for processing personal data The data is used to gather information on the use of climate risk indicators and European data platforms as part of local adaptation, and the factors hindering and enabling the use.
6. Legal basis for the processing The processing of the personal data is based on consent. The consent will be given by a Word document at the interview at the latest. The consent can be withdrawn at any time by sending the request to the register contact person.
7. Data content of the register The following personal data is collected to the register: - first and last name - title - organisation - country of residence - email address - the interview

9. Recipients or recipient groups of the personal data The data is collected with Word documents to three Teams: one controlled by FMI, one controlled by University of Helsinki and one controlled G.A.C. Group (Global Approach Consulting), established in 11-13 rue Rene Jacques, Issy les Moulineaux 92130, France; that is one of the VALORADA Consortium Partners. The data in Teams contains first and last name, title, organisation, country of residence, email address and the interview. Content will be processed by the employees of FMI, Hafencity Universität Hamburg (HCU), Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon GmbH (HEREON), University of Helsinki and Climate-Kic Holding BV (CKIC) that are working in the project. In addition, people who are working in the VALORADA project have access to the G.A.C. Group Teams. See the list of Parties at the end.
10. The transfer of personal data outside the EU or EEA The data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA. G.A.C. Group, University of Helsinki and FMI (Teams): Personal data is stored either in databases or in those of service providers, located within the European Union.
11. Register protection principles The data is stored by using digital security measures. The VALORADA Parties’s systems are protected with id and passwords. Only the persons who are required by their work duties and who have been granted access to the data can process the data. Access will be controlled by contact persons in G.A.C. Group, University of Helsinki and FMI (Teams).
12. The storage period or the criteria for determining the personal data The personal data is stored for two years after the data analysis. The data is removed from the register by the access controllers G.A.C. Group, University of Helsinki and FMI (Teams).
13. The rights of a data subject The data subject has the right to receive information from the Finnish Meteorological Institute on the personal data concerning the data subject. The data subject also has the right to correct their personal data, restrict the processing and the right to object to the processing.
14. The right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority The data subject has the right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority if the data subject believes that the processing of any personal data concerning them is in violation of the applicable data protection legislation. 15.
