Open data and climate service to provide help in the development of sector-specific meteorological impact analyses that support anticipation and mitigation

A worldwide survey directed to users of meteorological reanalyses was implemented as part of a survey of development needs in climate services carried out in the CORE-CLIMAX project under the EU's seventh framework programme.  According to the analysis, particularly the open data policy and impact analyses were considered important for their operation by the different user groups.
