Airborne particulate matter in the atmosphere increases cloudiness in Baltic Sea environment

A study conducted in the Baltic Sea environment indicates that the cloud cover becomes more extensive with the increase in airborne particles in the atmosphere

In addition, the interaction of clouds and airborne particles was seen to have climate-altering consequences; the life span of clouds increased, and clouds withheld precipitation for a longer time when the number of particles increased in the air.
