Solar radiation in different light environments measured in Sodankylä

Solar radiation in different growth environments has been measured at the Arctic Research Centre in Sodankylä. According to these research results, the solar UV radiation received by the undergrowth in a boreal coniferous forest was four times less than the radiation received by vegetation in an open area.
