New progress in research on interaction between clouds and aerosol particles

Little by little, we are gaining more knowledge on the atmosphere's fine particles i.e. aerosols. A new study answers questions on the interaction between aerosols and cloud droplets. A study published in Nature journal was able to demonstrate that a drop in the surface tension caused by aerosols acting as cloud condensation nuclei facilitates more effective cloud formation.
