Tiedote - EUMETSAT - Satellite Conference in Finland, June 2006

The annual EUMETSAT Meteorological Satellite Conference will take place in Helsinki 12-16 June 2006. The conference will deal with satellite meteorology, climatology and new subjects oceanography and environment. Because the first EUMETSAT polar satellite will be launched in 2006 and the International Polar year will take place 2007 one of the themes is polar meteorology.
