Background

I have worked as an aviation weather forecaster for about 8 years; in the meanwhile I have also been involved as part-time researcher in projects dealing with satellite meteorology and numerical modeling. After that I have worked as a project coordinator for the EUMETNET EIG programme Eumetcal from January 2009 to August 2011. Since September 2011 I've been working with international cooperation and development consulting projects at the FMI. I speak Italian (native language), fluent Finnish, fluent English, intermediate French and beginner Arabic.
