Aviation Weather Services

The Finnish Meteorological Institute's Aviation and Military Weather produces all official aviation forecasts and warnings of dangerous weather phenomena for civil and military aviation.

We also make the official observations (METARs) at Helsinki-Vantaa airport. On other aiports Finavia is responsible of the observations. Forecasts and observations are available from briefing service at the airport and via YLE Tele Text pages 428-429.
